Uniraid, a rally for students and from there, Jaime Infante and I, Álvaro González have been in the February 2020 edition representing the "Chilling riders" team.

Two friends who are students of Industrial Design Engineering and Mechanical Engineering, who met four years ago at the Colegio Mayor de Deusto and after forging a great relationship, the fact of living together, apart from creating that great friendship, made a concern arise to travel and discover new places and cultures. Hence, as soon as the idea of this solidarity rally was presented to us, we did not hesitate to prepare and do it.
Uniraid is a rally with a nine-day itinerary through the Moroccan desert in passenger cars over 20 years old and without four-wheel drive. In our case, we did it with a 1990 Peugeot 205 (30 years old), in order to deliver a minimum of 40 kg of solidarity material to the desert villages that we found along our path along the entire route.

This adventure has the peculiarity of being aimed only at students between 18-28 years old and what they seek with this experience is to increase their capacity for teamwork and personal improvement, since several of the stages are carried out independently with only a compass and some indications. They have broadcast the entire experience daily through their social networks and in this way they have made any of their followers participate. The main purpose of this adventure is to transport the greatest amount of solidarity material and in this way be able to bring smiles to each child they meet along the way.

With this, we want to thank both Jaime and Álvaro for the help and collaboration of all our sponsors and specifically Humpier, since without them none of this would have been possible.
